Asupa Congratulates Oborewori on election tribunal victory in Delta, says verdict is well deserved

Immediate past Delta State House of Assembly member, Hon. Asupa Foreta has congratulated the governor of Delta State, RT. Hon. Sheriff Oborewori for his election tribunal victory on Friday.


The lawmaker in a media chart with a Congress correspondent said, the tribunal victory does not come as a surprise but it was long anticipated.

Asupa who said the victory was well deserved, attributed it to the advancement of democracy and the rule of law in the country.

He said Oborewori won the March 18, governorship election in the state, adding that enemies of the state who were trying to steal power from the backdoor had been disappointed.

The lawmaker said the tribunal victory is only affirming the collective resolves of Deltans during the governorship election in the state.

He, however, advised the opposition party members to join hands with the governor of State to move the State forward.
