Auto crash kills 3 tricycle passengers in Delta

About three tricycle passengers died in a tricycle and articulate vehicle collision on Friday night.

The incident reportedly occurred at Orhuwhorun road at night when an articulated vehicle rammed into the tricycle, killing the rider and two others on the spot.

It was learnt one female passenger survived the crash, as she was lucky to have earlier jumped out of the tricycle before the collision.

One of the victims was returning home after visiting her husband’s sister in an undisclosed hospital when she was caught up with death.

Meantime, an attempt to reach the FRSC spokesman for comment proved abortive at press time.
