Biakpara felicitates Oborevwori for emerging as the winner of the Delta PDP guber ticket

A founding father of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Wing-commander P. Y. Biakpara has expressed excitement over the victory of the Speaker of Delta State, Chief Sheriff Oborevwori at the PDP primary in the state.

He said the emergence of Oborevwori as the governorship standard bearer of PDP is well deserved, adding that the delegates took the right decision by considering him as their preferred candidate for the 2023 general elections.

The former military governor stated that Oborevwori is vast and competent enough to manage state affairs when given the opportunity.

He also gave an analysis of the past years in which Sheriff had played a vital role to assist the current serving governor to turn Delta into an economic hub.

“I am so delighted with the outcome of the PDP Governorship primary election result of Delta State and am pleased to say congratulations to RT Hon Sheriff Francis Oborewori for emerging as the governorship ticket bearer of our great party.

“The smart agenda of Okowa has driven Delta State to a benevolent era, and Sheriff is one of those great ideas that contributed to the achievement of the goal of a prosperous Delta,” he added.
