Binebai Congratulates Igbadiwei On INC Presidential Election Victory

Academic professor, Benjamin Binebai has congratulated the president-Elect of the Ijaw National Congress, INC, Barr McDonald Igbadiwei.

It was gathered that the INC-NEC declared Igbadiwei winner of the presidential poll after defeating five other presidential candidates with 317 votes.

Binebai, in a statement said, “salute a defining dawn for the Ijaw nation as you, High Chief Barr. Macdonald Ebi Igbadiwei is declared winner of the April 13, 2026 presidential election of the Ijaw National Congress.

“This is more than victory at the polls—it is the mandate of a people who have entrusted their aspirations to a son who understands the pain, the history of the pain, and the remedies that will heal it. You rise from the soul, the bone, and the spirit of our land, and today the creeks echo with affirmation: the right captain now stands at the helm.

“I salute your tested background, your eloquence, and the depth of knowledge that mark you as a navigator for this season. May your presidency restore unity, dignify every Ijaw home, and pilot our collective destiny from grounding to the waters of liberation and prosperity. Lead with the wisdom of the ancestors, the backing of the people, and an unshaken fidelity to the wishes of the land. The work begins now. Ijaw Nation has won”. The statement read.
