Breaking: Fatal road crash injures scores in Delta

Several persons have been injured in a fatal road crash in Otokutu bridge in Warri, Delta state.

The incident occurred on Saturday night when an articulated vehicle conveying goods suspected to be animal feed fell across Otokutu bridge.It was learnt that the vehicle fell as a result of over speeding, the driver and one another in the vehicle were fatally wounded.Our reporter who witnessed the incident said another Honda Accord sport car also crashed into the articulated vehicle that fell on the road, and the occupants have been fatally wounded.The source, said the Honda rammed into the articulated vehicle because there was no sign to indicate that there is an accident vehicle crossing the bridge.The victims have been rushed to undisclosed hospital and the ancient vehicles were still at the accident spot at the time of filing this report.It was gathered the police is yet to visit the scene at press time.
