BREAKING: Guber Candidate Picks Primary School Teacher As Deputy In Kogi

The gubernatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kogi State, Usman Ododo has revealed his running mate.

Ododo picked a primary school teacher, simply identified as Salifu Joel as his deputy to run for the state governorship election.

The election is scheduled to come up on November 11, 2023.

The latest development is affirmed by the executive governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, who stated that picking Mr Joel, the current Chairman of Nigerian Union of Teachers in Kogi was a desire to carry everybody along in the development of the state.

The current governor stated that he will do everything possible to make sure the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, APC, remain in power.

He maintained that APC will abide with the rules and regulations of the electoral laws to win the November 11 governorship election.

Yahaya Bello said he’s assure his party APC will win because his administration has performed well in terms of infrastructure development, quality education, health care, and many more.

He asserted that he won’t tolerate any Political bitterness from the opposition party which can cause political violence before and after the election. He added that Kogi State is bigger than any person’s personal interests.
