BREAKING: Ijaw Publishers’ Forum Backs Ebi Tebela Remembrance Celebration

The Ijaw Publishers’ Forum (IPF) has officially endorsed the upcoming Chief Ebi Tebela Remembrance celebration, slated for September 23, 2024. This follows a meeting with the planning committee, led by Chairman Mr. Gideon Ebipade and comprising Secretary Comrade Gandi Wisdom, PRO Mr. Atigbi Lugard, Treasurer Mr. Abioka Karina, and members Mr. Luis Ebi Tebela, Miss Sarah Shell, and Mr. Meshach Ojijoh, as well as Tebela’s children.

 

At a press briefing after the meeting at TM Hotel in Warri, Delta State, IPF President Comrade Ozobo Austin emphasized the significance of supporting the remembrance celebration. He highlighted Tebela’s philanthropic efforts, which impacted thousands of lives, including those in the media industry.

 

“Ebi Tebela’s selfless contributions to our community and beyond deserve recognition,” Comrade Ozobo Austin said. “We urge all Ijaw leaders and stakeholders to join us in honoring his legacy.”

 

He added, “Recognizing good people encourages them to do more and sets an example for others to follow.”

 

The Ebi Tebela Remembrance celebration promises to be a fitting tribute to a remarkable individual who left a lasting impact on many lives. With IPF’s endorsement, the event is expected to draw widespread support from across the Ijaw community and beyond.
