BREAKING: Senator Abbas Emerges As Speaker House of Representatives

The members elect in the house of the representatives have voted Tajuddeen Abbas of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the speaker of the house of representatives.

Senate Abbas is representing Zaria Federal Constituency in Kaduna State.

The total votes cast are 359 votes, Abass won after polling a total of 353 votes, defeating his counterparts Ahmed Idris Wase and other who secured 3 votes each.
