Following an order to the Chicago State University (CSU) for the release of Bola Tinubu’s academic records within days on 29th September 2023 by Judge Jeffrey Gilbert of the Northern District Court of Illinois, Tinubu’s Lawyers quickly approached the court to appeal this decision. The appeal was successful as an opportunity has now been given to explain why the results should remain undisclosed to the public.

Judge Nancy Maldonado of the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois today 21st September 2023 accepted to delay the release of the academic records of Bola Tinubu and ruled that the defendant’s lawyers must produce a full brief of their arguments on Monday 25th September 2023 on why the results should not be released before a final judgement is passed.

Remember Atiku Abubakar, the PDP Presidential Candidate in the 2023 general elections had through his US lawyers prayed to the Chicago Court for the release of Tinubu’s results in a bid to prove that the Degree certificate presented by the now INEC-declared president was questionable and thus should be disqualified or removed from office as the president of Nigeria.

Atiku Abubakar is also at the Supreme Court of Nigeria to reclaim the mandate that he believes Tinubu ‘stole’ from him.
