Chief Moni Congratulates Otuaro on Birthday, Applauds PAP Reforms, Peace, Security in Niger Delta

Prominent Ijaw leader, Chief Ebis Moni has felicitated with the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Chief Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, on his birthday, described him as a visionary leader and true patriot of the Niger Delta.

In a birthday message issued on behalf of his family and associates, Moni said Otuaro’s birthday is more than a personal celebration.

“Your birthday today is not just a celebration of life but a celebration of purposeful leadership, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our region,” he said.

He commended Otuaro for transforming the Presidential Amnesty Programme since his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Since your appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, you have redefined the Presidential Amnesty Programme. You have moved it beyond a stipend-paying intervention to a strategic platform for transformation,” Moni stated.

According to him, Otuaro’s focus on human capital development has been revolutionary.

“Your deliberate focus on youth empowerment, educational advancement, and human capacity development is nothing short of revolutionary,” he said.

Moni listed some of the key initiatives under Otuaro to include scholarship expansion and specialized professional training.

“From the expansion of in-country and overseas scholarships for thousands of our youths, to specialized training for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Cadet Pilots, Maritime Cadets, and leaders in cybersecurity, data science, and oil and gas engineering, you have proven that the greatest investment we can make in the Niger-Delta is in the minds and skills of our people,” he said.

He added that the PAP Administrator is closing a long-standing development gap in the region.

“You are bridging the human capital development gap that has held our region back for decades, and in doing so, you are building the foundation for sustainable peace, security, economic growth, and a future where the Niger-Delta youth can compete globally,” Moni noted.

The Niger Delta leader described Otuaro’s commitment as a turning point for the region.

“Your commitment is a revolutionary step for the future of the Niger-Delta region. It is restoring hope, creating a new generation of professionals, entrepreneurs, and peace ambassadors, and repositioning our region for greatness,” he said.

He prayed for long life, health and wisdom for the PAP boss to continue his service to the Niger Delta and Nigeria.
