Chief Piniki Azaiye Laid to Rest Amid Tears, Tributes

The Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State witnessed an outpouring of grief as the remains of the revered Chief Piniki Azaiye, the erstwhile Ganpamowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, were laid to rest.
The funeral rites, attended by dignitaries, traditional leaders, and community members, celebrated the life and legacy of Chief Piniki Azaiye, whose passing left a void in the kingdom.
Tributes and Eulogies
“Chief Piniki Azaiye was a visionary leader, a champion of peace, and a steadfast advocate for the development of Gbaramatu Kingdom,” said chief Matthew Ebifiebebe Pudie, chairman of the burial committee.
“His wisdom, guidance, and selfless service will be deeply missed,” added the Pastor Christmas.
Funeral Procession
The funeral procession, accompanied by traditional music and cultural displays, wound its way through the kingdom, paying homage to Chief Piniki Azaiye’s contributions.
Final Farewell
As the casket was lowered into the grave, tears flowed freely as mourners bid their final farewell to a leader who had touched countless lives.
