Delta 2023: Ex-agitators canvass support for APC guber candidate Omo-Agege

Ex-agitators under the auspices of Progressive Niger Delta Ex-agitators Forum, PNDEF has thrown more weight behind the governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC DSP Ovie Omo-Agege, saying that he would do better when elected.

The group which was led by General Victor Mike in a statement said Omo-Agege had affected lives positively as deputy Senate president of the federation, representing Delta central senatorial district.

He said PDP leaders in the state had become so arrogant and no longer have regard for the common man, hence they vowed to end the PDP reign in the state.

The ex-agitators emphasized that the PDP-led government in the state is only good at doing selective development, adding “one must have a godfather to benefit from the system”.

They argued that it was time to end godfatherism in Delta politics, to give equal opportunities to all Deltans.

The ex-fighters further narrated that Omo-Agege is believed to be the right option for Deltans, noting that he would give equal development to every part of Delta state.

The group appealed to all Deltans to come out en mass to vote for Omo-Agege for governor comes March 18, 2023.
