Delta 2023: Group declares support for Augoye governorship race

A political group, under the auspices of Deltans For Positive Change, 2023, DPC, has thrown its weight behind the governorship ambition of Chief James Augoye, the former Commissioner for works of the state.

The group in a statement by its national spokesman Sele white said the former works Commissioner is the right candidate to lead Delta state come 2023.

The group said his records as former Commissioner for works in the state were unbeatable, noting that if given bigger responsibility, he will perform better.

“We need someone that will continue the good legacies of governor Ifeanyi Okowa and not someone who will abandon progress recorded in various sectors of the state.

“James Augoye is a man of a clean records and still falls between youth and middle age, so he is more preferable compare to recycling politicians metamorphosing for personal interests”.
