Delta 2023: Ijaw governorship will give Delta equal development -Ozobo

Popular and dogged Niger Delta rights activist and National president Ijaw People’s Development Initiative, IPDI, Comrade Ozobo Austin has said that Ijaw governorship only will give Delta State even development, adding that Ijaws should be supported to continue the good works of governor Ifeanyi Okowa come 2023.

According to him, Delta State needed a detribalized governor who will give each of the three senatorial districts an equal opportunities, and not governor who would promote personal and ethnic agenda against the public interest.

He urged Deltans irrespective of senatorial districts to queue behind Ijaw governorship, noting that only Ijaw man could see Delta North and Delta Central as his homes as done by governor Ifeanyi Okowa when elected as governor.

The activist cum politician maintained that Okowa’s development strides will only continue in the three senatorial districts of the state when Ijaw is elected as governor come 2023.

Ozobo who doubled as Special Assistant to the governor of Delta State on political matters reassured Deltans that Ijaw governorship would continue the various reforms embarked upon by the current governor of the state.
