Delta 2023: Ijaw Group garners support for Augoye

The governorship ambition of Chief James Augoye Delta 2023 has received a boost as Ijaw Youths Door to Door Movement (TIYADDM) has called on Deltans regardless of tribes and political differences to support him.

This was contained in a statement signed by Mr Clement Iyebo, Coordinator; Comrade Wayas Ebiaremene, Deputy Coordinator; Oweisana Macdona Emizibo, Secretary-General which a copy of it was sent to Congress correspondent in Warri on Tuesday.

The Ijaw gruop expressed optimism that Augoye was determined to consolidate on the laudable achievements of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

The group further prayed and urged Deltans to continue to support Governor Okowa in his efforts and determination to finish stronger and leave an indelible legacy.

It said, ” we are calling on all Deltans regardless of their political platforms and ethnicity to support Chief James Augoye, a new sun that will be shining in Delta State, for prosperity, peace and unity, and also for the states’ socio-economic growth and stability”.

” We are giving our unquantifiable supports to Chief James Augoye, a former Commissioner for Works, whom we believe will build on the legacy and visionary policy of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa”, the group maintained.
