Delta 2023: Okowa debunks alleged endorsement of preferred aspirant

Following the rumoured endorsement of preferred aspirant ahead of the 2023 Delta state governorship election, the Delta State Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa today (May 5, 2022) at the 2022 Quarterly Media Interaction with Members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Asaba, said he never endorsed any preferred aspirant, adding that Chief James Ibori Political Family and the People’s Democratic Party, PDP family are still intact.

The governor while speaking also refuted insinuations that he hijacked PDP delegates list, stressing that he had been falsely accused.

According to him, “Ibori political family is still intact, the PDP family is still intact.

“I didn’t endorsed any aspirant.
I did not hijacked PDP Delegate list and there was no attempt to hijack any delegates list.” he assured Deltans.
