By Stephen Asaba-ase
In a bid to harness the creative potential of Deltans and recognise talent as a fundamental aspect of human self-realisation, High Chief Kestin Pondi, Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Ltd, has thrown his weight behind the Delta State Creative and Entertainment Summit. This initiative aimed to eradicate laziness and unproductivity among youths in the Niger Delta region, providing a platform for them to showcase their talents and reach their full potential.
Chief Pondi received the Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Entertainment, Amb. Prayer Pemu, and lauded the summit as a thoughtful initiative that will positively impact the people of Delta State.
He emphasised Tantita’s social and humanitarian responsibility to contribute to building a future where youths can discover their talents and become productive members of society.
In support of the summit, Tantita Security Services Ltd donated a substantial sum to aid in its success, scheduled for July 18, 2024, at Unity Hall in Asaba, Delta State. This contribution aligns with the MORE Agenda of the Executive Governor of Delta State, promoting good governance and peace building in the state.
Amb. Prayer Pemu expressed gratitude to Chief Pondi for his leadership and philanthropic efforts, acknowledging his commitment to empowering youths. The funds will be used to raise awareness for the summit, which promises to be a powerful platform for youths to showcase their talents and reach their full potential.
“Chief Pondi’s selfless efforts serve as a shining example of leadership, inspiring youths to embrace their talents and reject drug abuse and restiveness. His legacy continues to reshape the minds of youths, encouraging them to engage in their God-given talents and strive for excellence.” the statement reads.
