Delta youth group to adopt Oborevwori as PDP sole candidate Dec 30

A foremost group, the Delta Youth Political Alliance, DYPA, will unveil/adopt Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O Oborevwori as the sole governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on 30th December 2022.

This was contained in a statement by the group’s co-coordinator Amb. Comrade Ozobo Austin and Comrade Ellington Ebakumo of which a copy was made available to newsmen in Warri on Thursday.

According to the coordinators, the adoption was to reaffirm the Delta youth’s solid support for Oborovweri’s candidacy. They further noted that the decision was to also inform the general public of Delta state that every disagreement in the party had ended and that the party is now very strong and united.

The group also threw weight behind Atiku/Okowa presidential ticket, Michael Diden, PDP Delta South senatorial candidate, Rt.Hon.Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu federal constituency, and PDP candidate of House of reps, Hon. Asupa Forteta, incumbent and PDP candidate for Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu North, and Hon. Peres Oloye, PDP Candidate Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu South

The statement urged the general public to attend the unveiling event which is slated for tomorrow December 30, 2022.

According to the group, the event would take place at Udu road by Orhuwhorun town hall by noon.
