DESOPADEC Commissioner Okozor is dead

Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) has lost one of its Commissioner, Mr. Ikechukwu Akozor.

The deceased commissioner was representing Ndokwa Ethnic Nationality in the board of DESOPADEC.

Mr. Ossai Ovie Success, an aide to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa
of Delta State on Thursday evening announced the death on his Facebook timeline.

According to the post: “It is a sad one. We just lost DESOPADEC Commissioner representing Ndokwa Ethnic Nationality Mr. Ikechukwu Akozor.

“His death is a sad one to Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) and Ndokwa Nation,” the post reads.

It was learnt he died on Thursday morning at a hospital in Asaba, the state capital.

However, the cause of his death is still sketchy at press time.
