Addressing Journalists during the weekend on the forum’s meeting resolutions in Warri, Ogie described Oborevwori’s reaffirmation by the Appeal Court as a great victory for the people of Delta, and a sign that the state is in a safe hands.

“I will speak, in all confidence, that having Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as the governor is the desire of the good people of Delta State because the position requires only agile and intellectual personality like him”, he added.

Ogie advised the candidates who lost in the last gubernatorial elections to rally round the incumbent and contribute their quota to the development of the state.

“I want to remind them that Oborevwori as the Governor of the state is the father and leader of all Deltans irrespective of their political affiliations. They need to synergize in unity in efforts to move the state forward.

“This should be the period where distraction should be avoided and people should be available to encourage Oborevwori’s administration for a better Delta State”, he stressed.
