DTHA 2023: Binebai Desmond wins ADC Burutu North constituency ticket

A son of later High Chief TM Binebai from the Burutu community, Desmond Binebai has emerged winner of the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC), Burutu North Constituency ticket in Delta State House of Assembly with a landslide victory.

The young politician emerged winner after the party’s assembly primary which was held in Burutu community on June 3, 2022 which he was a sole aspirant.

Speaking shortly after the primaries: “Today (June 3) I have been declared winner of the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) Delta State House of Assembly primaries, precisely Burutu North Constituency. I want to appeal to the people of Burutu North that, come 2023 general elections, they should replicate this gesture by considering their son who is ready to change the narrative of the Burutu North with their votes.

“The Year 2023 is a year of victory and I want to assure all the Burutu North people that when I’m elected for the House of Assembly, we shall all sing praises because I will raise motions and make sure that there is empowerment, skill acquisition and infrastructural development in Burutu,” he added.
