In a bid to rid off crime and ensure total compliance of rule of law in Inikorogha community in Ovia-South West Local Government Area of Edo State, the community has extended the tenure of office of the Interim Exco by (3) three months.

This was contained in a statement by the current Elders’ Council’s chairman of the community, High Chief Phillip Polo and the former Elders’ Council chairman, Elders Robinson Ogidigba on Saturday.

According to them, the extension became necessary as the Interim EXCO was still waiting for the former EXCO led by Hon. Timi Robert to come and give account of stewardship for the period he served as chairman in the community.

The statement reads, ” In the last six months, the entire community has written several letters to Mr. Timi Robert former executive chairman to come down and throw light into how they carried out their assignment while it lasted, but all the attempts fall on deaf ear.

“In rounding up, the community use this medium to appeal to former executive Council to come and give account of their leadership to clear doubts and concerns among residents of the community”, they narrated.
