Evah’s Tournament Semi-finals: Akparemo beats Kiagbodo 2-1 in penalty shootout, coasts to finals

The Akparemo community shined in Evah’s Tournament Finals with Thrilling 2-1 Penalty Shootout Win over Kiagbodo in the Semi-finals matches.
In a nail-biting semi-final match, Akparemo edged out Kiagbodo with a 2-1 victory in a penalty shootout, booking their place in the finals of the Evah’s Tournament in commemoration of the passage rites of the Bigborogha II.
The match was played in Ngbile primary school field at about 4:30pm with both teams fully prepared to battle for the finals.
It was gathered that Kiagbodo scored Aparemo 1-0 some minutes into the first half, but the very focused Aparemo team suddenly equalized and played draw to end the match, which both sides were awarded 5 penalties each. Akparemo lost 3 penalty shots and also Kiagbodo lost 4 penalty kicks.
The match was closely played, with both teams displaying exceptional skill and determination. However, after a stalemate in regular time, Akparemo emerged victorious in the penalty shootout, scoring 2 goals while Kiagbodo managed only 1.
With this win, Akparemo coasted into the finals, where they will face the winner of the other semi-final match.
