Ex-LG boss, George tasks Delta youths on capacity building as Pro-Sheriff group visits him

The immediate past two times Warri South West Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. George Ekpemupolo has admonished Delta youths on capacity building as MORE for Delta youth group extended Sheriff Oborevwori governorship campaigns to Gbaramatu Kingdom.

The ex-LG boss made the asserted when the M.O.R.E for Delta youth group paid him a courtesy visit in his country home at Okerenkoko community, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta state on Saturday.

The group which paid him an introductory visit, said Sheriff Oborevwori’s governorship dream represents the interest of the whole Delta state.

They appealed to him to support the Sheriff’s campaigns, adding that his ( Hon. George) support would go a long way in determining the victory of the PDP candidate.

George who equally endorsed the group, promised to render his support to ensure that the Sheriff vision is well nurtured.

While admonishing the youths he said: “Youths are no longer future leaders but they are equally leaders of today. We are into the future we were taught about. I’m a youth, Sheriff is a youth and other numerous youths are in leadership positions. It is a good thing. But rather we must show capacity so that our elders will not regret in giving power to the youth. They shouldn’t get disappointed and decide to take power from the youth. We must show results in any position we find ourselves.

“I want you people to be united and remained peaceful to pursue this course you have set for yourselves. Yes , it’s achievable and I will support in any capacity. Don’t hesitate to call me when the need arises,” he added.
