The people of Anambra State, the Ezeife family, and the government have all received President Bola Tinubu’s condolences on the loss of Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife, CON, a former state governor.
This was revealed in a statement released on Friday by Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.
Ezeife, Okwadike of Igbo-Ukwu, who served as governor of Anambra from 1992 to 1993, was said to have passed away on Thursday at the age of 85.
In response to his departure, Tinubu praised the former federal permanent secretary’s extraordinary influence on Nigeria’s political climate and leadership qualities, calling his death a tragic loss.
The President reminisced about the influence the late Chief Ezeife had on public conversation and government in Nigeria and creating the groundwork for his beloved state’s advancement.
As he prayed for the sadly departed soul to rest in peace, President Tinubu urged his loved ones to find comfort in his enduring legacy.
