The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, has immediately discontinued airport vehicle hire operations at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

This is coming following an ongoing factional conflict among car rental providers, which has hampered airport vehicle rental services.

Following the suspension, FAAN Management advises the general public and all airport users, particularly passengers, to use secured alternative modes of transportation or E-hailing services in and out of the airport, according to Abdullahi Yakubu-Funtua, FAAN’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection.

Management regrets any inconvenience this needed suspension may cause travellers, airport users, and the general public.

The FAAN spokesman assured that normal Car Hire Services will resume as soon as the disputes are resolved.
