Family holds service of songs for late Mrs Blessing Gbenekama

The service of songs for the Iate Ambassador Mrs Blessing Oghale Gbenekama was held in her husband’s residence at Charlisco road on Wednesday June 12, 2024 amid tears and lamentations.
The event was honoured by personalities, family members, well-wishers and friends of the late Mrs Blessing Gbenekama.
While reading the goodwill message of the departed soul, Alfred Mulade , the registrar of the Nigerian Maritime University said the late Mrs Blessing Gbenekama was a shining light in midst of women in Ijaw nation.
Also Barr Pudie Matthew who spoke on behalf of Gbaramatu kingdom, stressed that late Mrs Blessing Gbenekama means many things to different people in the Kingdom.
He emphasised that late Blessing legacy and her service to humanity will be forever remembered.
The children who read her biography, expressed sadness and regrets over the unfortunate incident that had befell their mother.
The sermon was conducted by the Anglican church, Warri Parish. Several clergies, members of the church and fellow nursing students of late Blessing Gbenekama attended the service of songs.
