Fatal auto crash kills many, injures several persons in Warri

A multiple auto crash killed a suspected number of persons and injured several others on Okpaka/Udu expressway on Sunday.

The incident occurred on Sunday 17th July 2022 at Okpaka/Udu expressway bridge where four vehicles collided in multiple crashes, killing a suspected number of persons while others were seriously injured.

It was learnt that two vehicles crashed from behind due to close-range driving after the head collision of two vehicles at the bridge.

It was suspected that one of the accident vehicles was driving in the wrong lane when the accident happened.

Some dead bodies and injured persons were seen at the top of the bridge as reported by an eyewitness.

Consequently, an effort to reach the FRSC spokesman for comment proved abortive at the time of filing this report.
