A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Femi Fani-Kayode has finally reacted to the lists of ministerial nominees submitted to the Senate by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Recall that Congress News had earlier reported the second batch of ministerial nominees to the upper chamber of the National Assembly for screening.

The final list containing 19 names was read on the floor of the house on Wednesday by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.

Members of opposition parties had mocked Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation over his absence from the lists, despite parading APC and belittling his former party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

FFK has, however, congratulated the nominees saying he wishes them the very best in their service to the nation.

In a tweet on Thursday, August 3, the former Minister declared that nominees are all excellent choices made by the president.

He wrote, “Congratulations to all those in both the first and second Ministerial lists of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT).

“They are all excellent choices and I wish them the very best in their service to our great nation.

“I was a Minister 16 years ago and I know how tasking and challenging it can be. We must remember them in our prayers and ask God to guide them in all their endeavours as they make difficult choices for our nation and assist Mr President. God will use them to take our great nation to a higher level.”
