Fmr Burutu LGA vice chairman, Ezonfade commends Ozobo for diligently supporting Ijaw cause

The former vice chairman of Burutu Local Government Council, Hon. Michael Ezonfade has commended Comrade Ozobo Austin, the frontline aspirant for the Burutu LGA chairmanship contest for diligently supporting the Ijaw cause and the activities of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP over the years.

The Burutu leader made this assertion when Comrade Ozobo Austin paid him a consultative visit at his country home in Okpokunou community in Burutu Local government area of Delta State.

Speaking further, he reiterated that with Ozobo’s contributions, selfless sacrifices to Ijaw nation and services to the party, if everything was equal, there wouldn’t be any need for him to waste money, time and energy to campaign like others who do not have any track records to get what he wants.

He affirmed that the fact that Burutu LGA needs a capable hand to pilot the affairs of the over 5million Burutu people can’t be overemphasised.

Ezonfade assured that Burutu leaders would take a thorough look at the various gladiators, rich or poor before making a choice this time around.

He urged Ozobo and his campaign term to extend their consultative visit to every leader in the council area and depend solely on God for victory.

Earlier, Ozobo presented his blueprint to the former council chairman, stating that the need for Solar turbine and wind turbine as independent community based power generation plans.

He also mentioned desalination, a laboratory process of dissolving salt content from the water to provide fresh water to riverine communities in the LGA.

The servant leader, Ozobo further spoke on improving the education and health sectors. He emphasised strongly on youth and women empowerment, promoting cultural activities, and reuniting Burutu people more.
