Former commissioner, Safugha buries father in-law in grand style, appreciates political associates, friends, family

The former Delta State commissioner of power and energy, Hon. NewWorld Safugha, on November 17, 2023, stormed the Angalabiri community in Sagbama local government area of Bayelsa State to give his father-in-law a befitting funeral rites.

Safugha was accompanied by legion of political leaders, associates, family members and friends across Delta and Bayelsa States.

The former commissioner, Safugha expressed his gratitude to the speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, Hon. Boro K. Preyor, the member representing the Bomadi constituency and other members of the Assembly, Hon. William Angadi, the executive chairman of the Bomadi LGA, the chairman of the Sagbama Local Government Council, and the most distinguished senator, James Ebiowou Manager and his devoted wife, Mrs. Biboere Manager, Hon. Lucky Diri, the younger brother of the executive governor of Bayelsa State, and his circle of friends, Honor. (Engr.) Franklin Miebi Garry, who was ably represented by Mr. Isaac Garry and Comr. Felix Okpe, as well as everyone who made a significant contribution to the burial ceremony’s success.

He, further expressed his gratitude to committee of friends and political associates, the chairman of the Ogbeinama community and all of the family members, the chairman of the Enekorogha community, his political family, friends of the Ogodobiri and Ezebiri communities, and the entire senator James Manager political family, all of whom magnificently contributed to the ceremony’s success.

The pastor and members of Rainbow Christian Assembly, located on Airport Road in Warri, as well as the pastor and members of Redeemed Christian Church of God, located in Warri, were also appreciated by him. “To name a few, they all took time out from their hectic schedules to attend the funeral service held in the Angalabiri community of the Sagbama local government area of Bayelsa State”.

Hon. NewWorld Safugha fervently prayed to God for direction and safety for everyone who inspired him, including those who gave him financial support, moral guidance, and prayers during the planning of his father in-law funeral.
“May God continue to bless you all”, he added.
