Ghastly auto crash kills 9 in Delta

No fewer than nine travellers have perished in a ghastly auto crash between a Lexus jeep and Picnic commercial vehicle on Wednesday afternoon at Osubi roads, Delta state.

The incident occurred on Wednesday at 2 pm when the Lexus jeep rammed into the commercial car where all passengers on board died at the spot just after Osubi community in Warri.

The source said the corpses were found spread abroad on the road, while sympathizers were seen lamenting seriously by the roadside.

It was learnt that the commercial vehicle was heading to Abraka with full passengers when the incident occurred. However, details on what caused the accident were still sketchy at the time of filing this report

According to the source, the corpses were yet to be evacuated at press time.
