Giant elephant spotted in Oyo by farmers

A giant elephant was reportely spotted in Saki, Oyo state by famers in South-West Nigeria during the weekend.

It was learnt that the giant elephant was escaping from Benin republic when it was spotted by farmers in Oyo.

According to a Facebook user Adesope Habeeb, the giant Mammal came some miles from Benin and was found within his farm in Saki.

He said no effort has been made by Oyo state government’s forestry agency to apprehend the stray wild life in the country.
