Gov Eno Salutes Super Eagles, Charges Them To Win AFCON Final Match

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has joined millions of football-loving Nigerians to wish the Super Eagles victory at tomorrow’s AFCON Final match against the Elephants of Cote D’Ivore.

 

In his message of solidarity released by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno, urged the Super Eagles to go “ and win this game for our dear nation.

 

“Football is a great and potent unifying force and I want to salute and thank you for all the victories you have recorded so far, leading to this epic final game.

 

“You displayed an indomitable spirit and with each game, you collectively gingered yourselves to Arise and shine.

 

“That’s the Nigerian spirit and we are hopeful, that by tomorrow, the nation will experience one huge moment of “Happy Hour” to celebrate your expected victory.

 

“We salute all the team members, especially our dear son, William Paul Troost-Ekong, the Team Captain and our beloved grand-son, Calvin Bassey.

 

“Let’s go get this for our nation and God’s speed.”
