Govt Adeleke promises full support, welcomes new Osun CP.

Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State, has promised that his administration will provide the state’s security personnel with the utmost assistance.

During the courtesy visit of Mohammed Isyaku, the newly appointed Commissioner of Police, on Wednesday, Governor Adeleke hinted at this.

The Governor, Kola Adewusi, his deputy, praised the security personnel in the State for their tenacity in upholding law and order.

“With his skill and depth of experience in fighting crime, CP Mohammed’s deployment to the state is a blessing,” he continued.

Before The Governor was thanked warmly by the new Commissioner of Police during his remarks.

Mohammed gave the state government his word that he was prepared.

“Part of my tactics in tackling the menace of crime would be to collaborate with other security agencies and community stakeholders,” he said.

On November 10, 2023, the CP was assigned to Osun State after the previous occupier, CP Patrick Kehinde Longe, retired.
