Suspected gunmen have reportedly attacked Comrade Timipre Ndoni, Bayelsa-based activist and freelance journalist in Yenagoa on Friday night.

The incident occurred at 9: 46pm at Azikoro town, opposite the IYC office in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa.

It was gathered that Ndoni who is also a Congress newspaper freelance journalist was looted off his phone, cash and other terms after the gunmen swooped on him.

The gunmen reportedly warned him of a pending danger over his support for a fraction of the kingship tussle of Operemor Kingdom.

However, an effort to reach the spokesman of the Bayelsa police command for comment proved abortive.
