House of Reps Speaker Congratulates Osun Governor Adeleke on Re-election

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, has congratulated Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on his re-election.

Abbas describes the outcome of the election as evidence of President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to democratic principles.

The Speaker notes that the victory of the Accord Party candidate demonstrated that the Tinubu administration had created an environment for political parties to test their popularity through elections.

He urges Governor Adeleke to justify the mandate given to him by the people of Osun State by delivering the dividends of democracy.

The Speaker also commends other candidates who participated in the election, saying their participation in the electoral process had contributed to the development of Nigeria’s democracy.
