How notorious pirate gang leader, MK Mutu, 20 pirates were killed in Delta

ABUJA-It was said in the time of old that there are many days for the thief and one day for the owner, the notorious pirate gang leader, Mutu Mone popularly known as MK and over 20 pirates crew members have met their waterloo after serveral notorious killings in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta and Ondo states.

The notorious pirate kingpin reportely hailed from Ajapa Community in Ondo State and was known for notorious killings and sea robbery.

He was killed by combined force of security operatives and Tompolo men on Sunday night when they clashed in a gun battle at Abigborodo creek in Warri North LGA.

It was learnt that the security operatives and Tompolo men mobilized several gunboats and laid siege on him in Abigborodo creek in noticing his return to Delta state some days ago.

A close source said there was an heavy exchange of gun fire between Mk- men and security operatives at the Abigborodo creek, and he was brutally shot and died immediately, including over 20 of his pirate gang members.

Congress gathered that MK Mutu was a blood relative of late pirate leader, Osi who was bombed and killed by the military, following his notorious criminal activities in Ondo, and Lagos states.

A security source added that, Mk and his boys were responsible for the killing of two soldiers, stealing of military gunboat and the death of over six Egbema peace corps members in Delta state between June and July 2021.

The source said that MK escaped to Ondo State when the military manhunt was intensified and only to return about three days ago.

Our source said, MK and about twenty of his gang members were killed in the brutal gun duel on the Sunday night.
