The Governor of Rivers State and former Presidential Aspirant Nyesom Wike has said he remained a member of the People Democratic Party, PDP, but emphasized that something which no man can stop will happen in the party soon.

He made this revelation during the flag-off of Eneka Internal Roads in the Obio-Akpor area of the state.

It would be recalled that over the past few months since the completion of the party’s primaries and the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as PDP’s Presidential Candidate, there have been a series of uproar among the loyalists of Wike and that of Atiku.

Some members of the party suggest that Atiku should paucify Wike for choosing Okowa over him as his running mate, others are of the thought that there’s no need for that. However, efforts are being made to address the internal crisis within the party but no resolution has been reached yet.

Wike, while addressing the audience at the flag-off of the Road, said he is still in the PDP despite all the wars and nothing has happened yet, stressing that soon, something will happen and no level of gang up against him can stop it.

He further stated that he would do whatever he wishes to do so far his conscience is free from regrets.
