Ijaw publishers greet Tompolo on ‘Maritime Man of The Year Award’

Foremost media forum, the Ijaw Publishers Forum, IPF, has congratulated the foremost Niger Delta leader High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo over his conferment as ‘MARITIME MAN OF THE YEAR AWARD 2022’.

Congress learnt that Tompolo was bestowed with the prestigious honour on Monday January 9, by Maritime Media Limited, publishers of Shipping World during a ceremony at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos.

The forum, in a statement jointly signed by Amb.( Comrade) Ozobo Austin and Mr Tare Magbei, Acting Chairman and Secretary respectively, described the honour as well deserved.

Following Tompolo’s commitment on the recent increase in oil production, the Publishers added that he had overtime proven himself a reputable contributor to the growth of the maritime sector in Nigeria.

“It is no surprise that you are bestowed with such a honor particularly at a time where your commitment to ending oil theft is revamping the Nigerian economy.

“This honour goes further to show your resolve in seeing a peaceful Niger Delta where meaningful investments will thrive.
