River State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has stated that his administration is committed to carrying out its duty and is not engaged in conflict with anyone.

Fubara gave a speech on Friday at the state’s 20,000 low-income housing units flag-off ceremony held in Mbodo-Aluu, located along International Airport Road in the Ikwerre Local Government Area.

He committed himself to upholding moral principles before both God and mankind, all the while promoting active citizen participation in governance.

Fubara asserts: “I want to reassure our people that our government is not involved in any conflicts with outside parties.

“Our governance is to take care and defend our people. I can assure you here that this is the beginning of our service to the people of Rivers State.

“It is not service to the elite but to the poor and low-income earners. Those are the people we want to stand with and we are standing with them from today.”
This occurs in the midst of Wike and Fubara’s ongoing disagreement.
