By Timi Black
The publisher of Focalpoint Report and a developmental advocate, under the umbrella of the New Delta initiative, NDI, Comrade Ezekiel Kagbala has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to actively address the current economic crisis rocking the country.
The advocate who spoke to news men in Asaba, Delta State, noted that it is no longer a news that Nigerians are experiencing severe economic crisis.
He added that the Federal government should not act as if the situation of the country has drifted out of control.
The publisher called on Buhari to act now as the increasing price of goods and services are biting harder on Nigerians.
“Under the leadership of President Buhari, cost of living for Nigerians has increased in every aspect of daily lives, Government agencies even the president seem not to care about instituting measures toward regulating the exponential increase of food prices in the face of the economic hardship.
“The price of cooking gas has jumped up so much that Nigerians groan in excruciating pains and depression.
“The poor economic and security approach of Buhari and his impotent economic team have failed woefully.
“The Nigerian Government should think deeply about protecting the social-economic rights of the citizenry” the publisher noted.
