A middle-aged woman, simply identified as Mrs Beauty Notiama said the reason why indigenes of Inikorogha community in both home and diaspora converged on April 29, was to make changes in the administrative structures of the community.

The Beauty who spoke at the Inikorogha community during the enlarged meeting of the community held in the community town hall on Saturday, April 29, 2023, affirmed that over time the community have been facing some challenges.

She told newsmen that they met to correct things that were not in good order, adding that the community gathered for peace and tranquillity.

Beauty said: “We are here for settlement and to put things to move the community forward. Especially to select the Ama-kosowei and put new executives in the community.”

According to her, the huge celebration in the community was because the community had embraced peace, nothing that nobody is fighting anybody.

She insisted that the gathering of the community on that day was not to fight anybody, nor for any evil purpose but for the good of the community.

Mrs Beauty appealed to Governor Godwin Obaseki to consider the community for infrastructural and human capital development, insisting that some of the women who are participating in politics should equally be considered for employment, empowerment and appointment.

She attributed the security challenges in the community to have been caused by misunderstanding among those who are involved in Timberworks in the community.

According to her, now that the state government had decided to settle disputes in the community, he should look into the developmental needs of the community without further delay.
