INL Commend NDLEA On It Operational Successes

The International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Bureau (INL) has commended the recent operational successes of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and pledged continued support.

At the NDLEA HQ in Abuja, INL Nigeria Country Director, Derek Tolliver, congratulated the NDLEA leadership, describing the agency’s recent achievements as phenomenal. He said the US government is committed to strengthening the existing partnership and advancing joint programmes.

NDLEA Chairman, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa, highlighted the impact of US-donated vehicles and modern forensic equipment, particularly in the investigation of illicit drug production.
He appealed for further US support, particularly in logistics, operational equipment and training, as NDLEA intensifies its fight against drug trafficking and illicit drug production in Nigeria.
