IPF Felicitates Dr Okotete As 10th president of IYC

The Ijaw Publishers Forum (IPF) has extended heartily felicitations to the newly sworn-in 10th president of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, worldwide, Dr. Doubra Collins Okotete.

The report was signed by the national Secretary of the forum, Comrade Tare Magbei which a copy of it was sent to newsmen in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria on July 27, 2026.

The statement is further read, “Your election is a clear demonstration of the confidence reposed in your leadership, vision and unwavering commitment to the advancement of the Ijaw nation. We are confident that your wealth of experience, passion for youth development and dedication to service will usher in a new era of purposeful leadership for the Council.

“As the foremost body of Ijaw media owners and publishers, the Ijaw Publishers Forum recognises the strategic role of the IYC in promoting peace, unity, sustainable development and the collective aspirations of the Ijaw people.

“We therefore look forward to working closely with your administration in amplifying initiatives that promote good governance, youth empowerment, environmental justice and the socio-economic advancement of the Niger Delta.

“We encourage you to lead with courage, integrity and inclusiveness while fostering stronger collaboration among stakeholders across the Ijaw nation. The expectations of our people are high, and we believe your administration possesses the capacity to inspire hope and deliver meaningful progress.
