IPF signs condolence register at Pa Clark’s Kiagbodo residence in Delta

The Ijaw Publishers’ Forum (IPF) paid a condolence visit to the Kiagbodo residence of the late Pa Edwin Clark, Delta State, to honor the memory of the renowned Ijaw national leader and Nigerian elder statesman. The group described Pa Clark as a visionary leader whose influence extended beyond regional boundaries.
The Forum’s National President, Comrade Ozobo Austin, signed the condolence register, acknowledging Pa Clark’s pivotal role in advocating for the rights and emancipation of the Niger Delta region, also describing Pa Clark’s passing as the end of an era.
Ozobo paid tribute to Pa Clark, describing him as a “colossus” and a “mobile library” who was a source of inspiration for many. The Apex Media Forum noted that Pa Clark’s commitment to the advancement of the Ijaw people, Niger Delta and his unwavering stance on justice and national unity earned him prestigious titles, including the Officer of the Federal Republic (OFR) and Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).
IPF expressed its condolences to the Ijaw nation and the Clark, Fuludu and Bekederemo families, acknowledging the timely need to immortalise him.
