Good music sustains. It intoxicates the soul and provides nourishment for both the spiritual and the physical world of man. The sense of joy it gives uplifts the soul from any burden when it( the soul) is attuned.Good music is like an oxygen that revives the dying body psychologically. It frees ones mind of the immediate problems and beams the searchlight of hope and moral rejuvenation for the near future.

Yes King Robert Ebizimor, Bestman Doupere, Agbeotu Teiyebo, Prof. IK Belemu, Chief Echo,Grand Master Pereama Freetown, now, Jking Alfred Ezonebi, taking the lead of his master, has come to fill the vacuum with more creativity and instrumentation.

GbaramatuVoice’s voyage to Yenegoa, the state capital of Bayelsa, the Centre of Culture and productivity was to intimate the world of a historic event. As Alfred Ezonebi sets to unveil King Robert Ebizimor Memorial Studio—the long nurtured dream of a befitting studio for Ijaw music production by King Robert Ebizimor, his musical elixir—to promote Ijaw music production and sustain the Ijaw music icon, prophet, philosopher, legend, King Dr. Robert Ebizimor. King Robert’s plan to actualize this vision was cut short by the inevitable phenomenon called death. However, being made plain on the tablet of his talented mentee as God told Habakkuk, Robi’s vision is now realizable in Ezonebi who has come to wear the crown with the vision to build a Memorial studio in honour and preservation of his master’s legacy, and to keep the Ijaw music spirit alive at all levels, so that Ijaw sons and daughters will not go far away looking for studios that can constantly understand the rhythmic flows of the Ijaw musical tones and rhythms to the global world without stress in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Yes, November ,20th 2021, Jking Alfred Ezonebi Musical Concert at Dr. Gabriel Okara Event Centre is another historical milestones, host of all musical stars of Ijaw Nation will showcase their mastership, both old and young, will perform. The first time, Ezonebi will dance Agene, Awigiri, or Wabu, or other new dance steps created in Bayelsa State.

Ezonebi stands to rebrand and reposition the Ijaw music, to coach the younger generation on the technicalities, of the old and the new trends for the Ijaws to compete globally in terms of sound system and coordinated professional alignment of voice and tone.

By this, the Ijaws are moving to a world-class production in Bayelsa State, where people can be trained and produce their songs in King Robert Ebozimor Memorial Studio that has began to receive a stream of musicians for production and recording of new songs.

This is for all brand of musicians, from Ijaw to Afro, Reggae, High life, Blues, and anything called Music. The multi- talented Jking is there to give every attendee the best of all sounds free of copyright beats.

However, Alfred Ezonebi, JKing also reiterated the ordeals he has to overcome in his desire to midwife the dream of late King Dr. Robert Ebizimor, the Ijaw music icon to have a recording Studio but could not make it before death’s cold hand was laid on him.He spoke to GbaramatuVoice in Ijaw dialects:“My good people of Ijaw nation, this studio is meant for all Ijaw sons and daughters who can come and sing and produce songs is what Ezonebi has opened; the place is called King Dr.Robert Ebizimor Memorial Studio. The reason is that when King was alive, one thing he wanted to do to help himself and all Ijaw musicians that he couldn’t do was a studio, a recording studio. One time he had an interview that if God could give him the financial strength to have a recording studio, he would have been pleased. Because of this singular reason, he bought a vast land at Sagbama town to build a1 music studio but all things worked for the glory of God that he couldn’t do such before his demise from planet earth. We that were his children in the music world that he had coached, and continuing his legacy, today, has gotten a studio.

” It was king Dr. Robert Ebizimor’s tutelage that gave me the opportunity and the life I am living today. So, I have no other name to call this studio rather than naming it after him, King Dr. Robert Ebizimor Memorial Studio.”

Ezonebi narrated the agonies of King Robert Ebizimor travelling to different parts of the country to produce songs and how he was able to create the vision. Robert solely desired to do it but couldn’t. Nevertheless,
Ezonebi has achieved it as his–Robi’s– legacy:
“My Ijaw people, in the olden days, before I Ezonebi started playing music, myself and Ferebo Epabifeye, when we were in the village, we had always hoped to visit the studio. If we could visit the studio to play music, we would have been a happy people.
If I got to the studio, I would perform music incredibly, Ferebo my friend. If I were in a studio, I would have talked so many issues, and if you looked at myself and Fere, Fere is perfect at talking, while I am also strong at my side. And that was how we moved in the music field, until we joined King Dr. Robert Ebizimor.

“That time we were very young, so, Robert too didn’t have studio for us to talk those things we had always planned to talk at the studio, but any time Robert wanted to go to the studio, it was first, “canoe” they carry to go to Akwa. And in that said canoe, it was only selected persons that would go to the studio, and what they often told us was that the boat had full to its capacity. So we also thought that if the place was nearer, we would have just paid to the studio to observe how it looked like to be in the studio. Yes because we did not have studio, we suffered before now. Apart from Akwa, they moved to Benin City again for all long travel before reaching a studio to sing. After sometime, it was later in Ughelli that Ijaw musicians started singing again. Studios built by other tribes as we didn’t have one then, where the Ijaws went to Benin, Akwa, and Ughelli in a very zigzag manner. And that affected us for a long time. Today, God has done it that Ezonebi now owns a personal studio in Yenagoa town. And in this place, let all Ijaw people come: if you want to sing music, all types of music, we will do it for you. It is not difficult to do it. This will stop all unnecessary movements we were making in running to Ughelli or long-distance places, like Benin, Akwa, or Lagos and wherever. . It is now in Yenagoa!

“God has uplifted Ezonebi to have a recording music studio to promote Ijaw nation.”

To have quality beats creation, undoubtedly, Jking is there to give you the best of all. The progenitor of Delta Ijawism theory for Governorship, JKing awaits to entertain the whole of Niger Delta region on the 20th of November 2021 at Dr. Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre with his music concert first among the first in the history of Ijaw music.

GbaramatuVoice’s voyage is a testimony to this new development where the Government of Bayelsa can key into this vision to train youths in the music industry that has many commercial values to any state that builds youths for their chosen career, and this will help to prevent crimes and idleness among youths within the state and Ijaw nation at large.
