The immediate past Commissioner of Oil and Gas Delta State, Prince Emmanuel Amgbaduba will grace the maiden inauguration ceremony of the Ijaw Publishers Forum, IPF, billed for February 29, 2024 in Warri, Delta State.

This was disclosed when members of the Forum, led by its President Comrade Austin Ozobo, paid him an official visit at his residence in Udu-Warri area of the state on Sunday.

The IPF’s President, Ozobo during a brief interaction informed the immediate past commissioner on the vision of the group which included among others the need to unite Ijaw publishers towards the promotion of the Ijaw Nation as well as creating a speaking space for Ijaw media practitioners.

Ozobo also presented letters of invitation and appeal for support to the ex-commissioner.

In his response, Prince Amgbaduba thanked members of the forum for the visit and promised to be in attendance at the inauguration barring any last minute changes in his schedule.

He also encouraged the body of Ijaw publishers not to relent in their collective pursuit for the actualisation of the Forum’s vision.

Among other members of the Forum in attendance included Prince Perez Klint of Iduwini Voice, Ekpegha Preye of South South Daily, and Abai Francis of PENGlobal.
