JUST IN: Buhari, Emefiele meet in Presidential Villa amid naira controversy

President Muhammadu Buhari has met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Godwin Emefiele at the Presidential Villa Abuja following rising tension on Monday.

It was gathered this will make the third time Emefiele is meeting privately with Buhari since the beginning of the cash crunch in the country.

However, The CBN Governor, did not speak to journalists as he left the Presidential Villa as the agenda of the meeting is still sketchy at press time.

Meantime, since February 10, Nigerians have been hit by Naira scarcity due to the swap of the currency.
