Delta Broadcasting Service operators of Delta Rainbow Television and Melody FM Warri, Delta State, on Friday November 12, 2021 honoured the member representing Isoko South Constituency 2 in Delta state House of Assembly, Hon. Ferguson Onwo, Chairman/National Coordinator Centre For Peace and Environmental Justice, CEPEJ, Chief Sheriff Mulade, Hon. Francis Obule, Dr. Paul Okubor, Chief Executive Officer Francon Sports Company, Nze Francis Onuora, immediate past Delta State Coordinator FRSC Special Marshal, Comrade Dickson Amromawhe, MD Olotu & Sons, Evang. S. O Olotu, Prof. Teddy Omonigho Idiabeta Esq, with public service award in appreciation of their involvement in Humanitarian services.

Others include the Pere of Akugbene-Mein Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Kalanama Viii, Amb. Dr. (Mrs) Onyi Ikemefuna, Managing Director Lee Engineering, Chief (Dr.) Leemon Ikpea, CEO Coastline Microfinance Bank, Omawumi Evelyn Urhobo, Chief Odet Eghrujakpor, Medical Director Syracuse Clinic Warri, Dr. Victor Oraegbu, Medical Director Capitol Hill Clinic Warri, Dr. Lucky Okparanyote, Chairman of Uvwie LGA, Hon. Ramson Onoyake, McCarthy Vincent Ijiebor, Human right Lawyer, Oghenejabor Ikimi Esq, and Chief Wilson Ejeben.

General Manager Delta Broadcasting Service Warri, Pst. Malcolm Oteri disclosed that the establishment is keying into the development initiative of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in attracting and encouraging investors in the state, adding that COVID 19 affected Nigeria’s economy and that government can’t do all things along but required support from people with good will.

PST. Oteri stressed the need for support from humanitarian services from people in helping improve quality of lives as well as social and infrastructure, hence DBS as a media organization was appreciating people involved in humanitarian and philanthropic services by honouring them to encourage them as spur to do more.

The DBS General Manager commended the Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, Chairman Board of Directors DBS Warri, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza for their support in making the award possible.

Dr. Orhadawhe retired HOD News and current Affairs DBS Warri, in his brief lecture advised journalists to get themselves more equipped with Nigerian issues in order to defend their findings, adding that the National and state assembly members should collaborate in order to extend good governance and ensure security to all Nigerians.

An industrialist Evang. S.O Olotu in his remarks pointed out that since the coming of PST. Oteri as the General Manager DBS Warri, the establishment has witnessed tremendous transformation with God helping him, Mr. Abhulimen Manager Lee Engineering assured of continuous support and investing in Warri to make Warri grow economically, socially and in all sectors.
